This shot was taken from Olmsted Point along the Tioga Road or highway 120 in Yosemite National Park. To a lot of folks it might look backwards and that's because it is from the east side of the park looking to the west .If you look close on Half Dome's side you can spot the trail going to the top of the dome where the cables are positioned in the summer months.
This photo was taken late in the afternoon on a late April day. As the sun was setting on the backcountry of Yosemite and Tanya Lake, Mt Conness standing at 12,590 ft high above all else in the area north of Highway 120 reflected the yellow sunlight.
